Scooter ride will ‘Raise a Ruckus for Autism’
Reynoldsburg resident James Lee plans to travel almost 300 miles across Ohio on a scooter to raise money for and awareness of autism.
He is calling his campaign “Raise a Ruckus for Autism” because his scooter is a Honda Ruckus.
Ride to Help Autism Society
The Autism Society of Ohio, Mahoning Valley office, the regional chapter of the Autism Society of America, will be the beneficiary of the third annual Mike Hull Memorial Ride Aug. 22.
Autism Acceptance is Desperately Needed
April had been recognized as Autism Awareness Month in Ohio since 2008.
The intent was designed to bring awareness to autism and to encourage and empower individuals with autism and their families.
